Upgrade to Revu 21 or Revu 20 | Bluebeam Technical Support Upgrades vs. It feels like the active maintenance definition was changed from when I actually purchased active maintenance. This seems to be the understanding in the paragraph below (see the link for reference). Can anyone confirm if this is correct? Like I can use Revu 20 with or without maintenance so why would I have been paying for it if I didn't think I'd get to use the new version? It makes me curious, when anyone was paying for Revu 17 or 18 and you had active maintenance, were you given Bluebeam 19 or did they consider that an upgrade and you had to pay extra? I may be misunderstanding, but now it looks like they are saying Revu21 is only available as an upgrade to subscription, not an update - so I can continue paying maintenance and stay on version 20 (and not get the upgrade) or I can upgrade to 21 and I would only have a couple months before my maintenance period ends that I would get the new version at no extra cost at which point I'd end up having to pay full subscription price. So I have paid active maintenance the last year and Revu 21 comes out. I pay active maintenance, which is essentially protection from not paying full price to have Bluebeam not release a new version and have to pay full price for the new version. So I am confused as all will get out with the Bluebeam 21 drop. ![]()
